    I have a somewhat of a success story for you. I also have an alternative method to losing weight. I have been turned on to a natural product that not only helps with weight loss but also reducing bad cholesterol. I have been taking it for a month now and I have lost 6 pounds and I have lost inches as well. Not sure as to how many as I didn't measure before I started to take it. But I have noticed it in my clothes. The product which I now use is called Bios Life Slim. If someone would be interested in hearing more about the product I would be more than happy to talk to them. Again I want to stress that it is a natural product, it was recommended to me by a person in the medical field who also uses the product. (It is also recommended by all kinds of doctors, nurses to use the product.)

    I've shared my story with plenty of people, but some have not heard mine. My wife has been trying to get me to diet or workout for a long period of time. It had never interested me until I started noticing my energy and drive decreasing. Then I thought of the idea for Get Fit Fennimore. I am fairly competitive, ok competition drives me. And what better way to lose weight than to make it a competition and give out prizes. To date I have lost 40.8 pounds (6 inches on the waist), but this is not a solo mission. As a matter of fact, none of this could be possible without a strong partner to help me through these times. My wife has been my driving force. She makes sure I eat well and we work our schedules out so that both of us can exercise regularly. What has worked for me has been a diet restricted to around 2000 calories a day. I'm a big guy, so this is possible. I have not had a can of pop since January 25th. That's going from 64oz or more down to none. Cold turkey. I've cut out highly salty foods, which stinks as I love chips. I actually look at what my choices to eat are and portion control. As far as a workout routine, I spend about 5x a week doing cardio for 60min at a time and I will mix in a weight routine for the upper body prior to cardio. I've heard it burns more calories. I did the before and after pictures. When I woke up Monday, February 2nd, I took pictures with my shirt off. And I have done so now at Weigh-in #5. It takes a big man to post topless pictures of himself. That's my story. I started this competition to make myself look and feel better, and try to make those around me realize that we all have choices. You can still have a fun life eating healthy and exercising regularly.

  3. I've currently lost 23.7 pounds on the Get Fit challenge. I've been a yo-yo dieter all of my life and have tried many things. I decided I'm tired of always thinking about weight and this is going to be a permanent lifestyle change. My new motto is Move More, Eat Less! I started by quitting all soda and fruit juice, I only drink water now and lots of it. I've been cutting out junk food, bread and candy but if I do have a craving, I just eat a small portion. Portion size is the big thing that I've changed, eating much less and never after supper. I like to chew Extra gum if I have the urge to eat at the wrong times. I've started using my treadmill again, it's done being a clothes hanger. Walking is my favorite exercise so I try to walk as much as possible and include the family. I've had my days that I've gotten off track but I realize that's to be expected and to just get back to it and don't give up. This is a journey to change my life and I'm so happy to be on it.
