Get Fit Fennimore 2013!
This 12-week health, nutrition and weight loss program combines mini health education sessions, weight loss sessions, tips for healthy living and exercise classes to help you boost your metabolism and feel good about yourself inside and out! Weekly weigh-ins will help you stay on track and celebrate your progress.
Weigh-in will take place every Wednesday at the Fennimore Memorial building between 5 to 7 p.m. or anytime at Fennimore Fitness or by special arrangement with Get Fit chairperson Vicki Marish at 608-822-6049. The deadline to qualify for weekly prizes is 8 p.m. each Wednesday (see the rules and regulations).

Participating in Get Fit 2013 is easy. There are three options to get involved.
- Sign up as an individual participant. You can do weekly weight loss and attend any or all weekly classes for $25.
- Form a 5 person team for $20 per team member for the weekly weight loss portion and attend any and all classes.
- Sign up and pay $25 to attend any or all of the educational classes without participating in the weigh-in activities. This third option is a way for you to explore topics of interest and join in the fun of the contest.
The class topics are designed to cover a wide variety of subjects to inform and support the participants to achieve a healthy life through healthy habits. Nutrition class titles include weight control basics, emotional eating, and addictive eating. Low impact exercise classes are basic stretch and Tai Chi. Special classes cover herbs, essential oils, color and exercise basics. Health management classes include cholesterol, diabetes, stress and blood pressure information. High impact exercise classes include TurboKick, Bootcamp, On the Ball, Circuit Training, and Extreme Abs. Stress management classes include meditation and Gigong.
Attend the classes you want and earn participation points (See the Get Fit Point System Information Sheet ) and/or lose weight to be eligible to win prizes. Get healthy and be the ultimate winner.
